More than fifty local Air Cadets had a successful games night at the Pencoed Campus of Bridgend College organised and run by staff and students of the College?s BTEC Level 3 Public Services Course, assisted by the Royal Air Force.

The cadets from Squadrons in Aberkenfig, Bridgend, Cowbridge,Kenfig Hill, Maesteg, Pencoed and
Porthcawl took part in a range of activities including using the College?s climbing wall,a cats cradle exercise, and a mat slide, with the winners being 1092 (Bridgend) Squadron, closely followed by 2117 (Kenfig Hill) and 2318 (Aberkenfig). Prizes included a plaque for the winners, iTune vouchers and taster sessions on the climbing wall.

The staff and students from the College were part of the BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma Police, Fire & Military Studies (Uniformed Public Services) which is designed to inform, educate and prepare students for the environment of the Uniformed Public Services.
