Car Show Marshalling_____________________________________________________________________________

On Sunday 13th May, Cadets from 1092 (Bridgend), 2426 (Pencoed) & 293 (Cowbridge) Squadrons joined forces to assist the South Wales Car Club in the grounds of Pencoed Colledge near Bridgend.

Their conduct, attitude and performance on the day was not only noticed and complemented on by the Car Club, but also by several other groups that attended the event.

The event included over 200 vehicles from all eras of motoring and all types of capabilities with over 500 visitors attending the 1 day event. It was a spectacular event to be involved with and one which the 3 squadrons would be pleased to parcitipate in again.

Showing strong teamwork, communication and practical skills the cadets & staff showed the true spirit of the Air Training Corps despite high temperatures and the long hours.

The staff on the day included Flt Lt Peter Meath (1092), Plt Off Rhys Thomas (293), Sgt ATC Adam Burman (2426) along with Civilian instructors from both 1092 and 2426 Squadrons.
