948 (Haverfordwest & City of St.Davids) Squadron Band Triumph At The Liberty Stadium

948 (Haverfordwest & City of St.Davids) Sqn play at The Liberty Stadium ___________________________  _

The evening saw what could be the final match of Ospreys player Shane Williams.  The high-flying Rugby Union player scored a dramatic late try and conversion which saw the stadium explode with applause and a standing ovation. 948 (Haverfordwest & City of St.Davids) Squadron were lucky enough to be invited to play at the Stadium to mark this special occasion.

The band began playing just after 18:00 and within seconds stunned the on looking crowds and blitzed them into silence with the sheer skill that 948 Squadrons musicians have.  The band had the chance to march up and down the outside of the Stadium whilst fans queued to get in. Fans enjoyed the band so much that they even began to sing to some of the songs that the band were playing.
One fan praised the band highly and said that it was a pleasure to see such smart and disciplined looking young people representing their Squadron.
Once the band had finished, they were invited into the Stadium to watch the match and witness Shane Williams's victory try in the 79th minute.
