Kenfig Hill RAF Air Cadets were out in force at Tesco in Port Talbot collecting for this year’s RAFA Wings Appeal on behalf of Porthcawl and Kenfig Hill Branch.

RAFA, the Royal Air Forces Association, provides welfare support to the RAF Family.  The RAF Family includes all serving and ex-serving personnel and their dependants. Whether it’s an injured airman fighting to get back on his feet, a young child missing their parent away on overseas operations, or a World War II veteran needing a shoulder to lean on, RAFA are there to help all generations of RAF Service personnel and their families. To find out more about RAFA you can go to their website at http://www.rafa.org.uk/

Sgt Kevin Gould ATC was in charge of the weekend and would like to thank Civilian Instructor Mr Chris Lewis and all the cadets who attended.  It proved to be a quiet weekend due to the Olympics but the public were generous and £626 was raised.
